I was wondering how things were going. Thanks for the update. Hang in there, Steph!
Just keep thinking about the AWESOME new haircut Kim will give you, when you're ready!!! Sorry we didn't get a chance to go see her before surgery, but I promise, SHE ROCKS!!!
Keep up on the pain killers, babe!
Love the thumbs up! You are going to look and feel so awesome after everything is done...just get to feeling better! :)
Yay, it's done!!! Take it one day at a time for the next few weeks and remember to be patient with yourself. I'm almost 6 weeks out and I'm finally starting to feel great, but still not pre-op self...so it's a long process as you know. But when you're starting to think this will never get better, trust me, it will and we will all be here to remind you too! :)
Congratulations! I love how we all give the thumbs up and crooked smile after surgery--must be the drugs :o) Don't forget to use your Aquaphor, it does work so great! Hang in there and expect to have some "down" days--go ahead & cry & get it out if it happens. It is normal even though it won't feel like it at the moment. It does get better! Drink as much protein as possible to keep your strength up and lots of water to help the swelling. Oh..& walk as much as possible each day--that also helps so much. Good luck!
WOOT WOOT!! THERE you are! So good to see you're on the other side, smiling and spaced on the glorious meds~ You DID it, it really really happened!
Heidi's right, two huge accomplishments to be proud of. Now for the hardest part. You got tons of great advice above, so I won't repeat it, except for that hang in there part ;)
Can't wait to hear you're home and settling into that new comfy chair, and to follow the rest of your adventure. *Hugs* xoxo
ps. Thank you so much, Heidi, for pics & keeping us in the loop :)
I am glad to see that you have your thumb up. You can't be feeling to badly then. You look really good, bandages and everything. You will soon be out of hospital, and I can't wait to hear about your experience. It must be so nice to have it over and done with.
Nice little reminder ya got there on your chin. :D
ahahaha, Shontell - isn't that funny?
