It's a Damon Splint - so, it's now my retainer and it also pulls my lower jaw far forward at night and seperates the jaws apart to relieve pressure off of my jaw joints. I'll wear it for the rest of my life - just like you would a retainer.stephaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13593644503311170383noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1748573610052699240.post-64477834724133128892011-02-10T19:02:55.999-08:002011-02-10T19:02:55.999-08:00YEAH!!! I'm so glad that you aren't having pain or those horrible migraines and that your range of motion is normal. Great to hear that you can play your instruments and just enjoying life without jaw pain.

I know I always felt bad that you had so many problems and I was one of the ones that was able to move on and forget as I have had very little issues. I still have numbness in my chin but it doesn't bother me either. And I just recently had to get a night guard from grinding my teeth which was causing sensitivity.

Congrats again! And thanks for keeping us posted!Jackiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17064425098161757518noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1748573610052699240.post-31565765795596157802011-02-07T14:35:36.276-08:002011-02-07T14:35:36.276-08:00How long do you have to wear the splint?
